Hi,

you can get a job in many ways
first of all many companies will come for on campus placements in your college and you can be selected in one of those

secondly post your resume on job sites like naukri, monster, etc and you will surely get responses

thirdly you can appear in the various exams held by the UPSC
finally enroll yourself in the employment exchange and keep an eye on the employment bulletin
all the best

JOB AFTER B. TECH:

For a better job opportunity, you need to start preparing for entrance exams like GATE. Even if you are not interested in studying further, scores in the exam will help you in getting good job.

Prepare for aptitude tests, as many companies firstly take a written test & thereafter group discussion & interview.

Make a good resume with cover letter, apply at firms like consultancy which may suggest you good opportunities.

From the last year itself, you need to keep an eagle's eye at different vacant positions & start applying. Read aptitude books & tips for clearing interview & prepare for group discussion questions.

Work hard & practice in your B. Tech which will facilitate in getting good job.

Good Luck!

The opinion of doing job differs from person to persons.

As you asked the best job for b-tech candidate.

According to me the best job for the B-tech students is work in core side than working in some other streams, which is not that much related to your educational qualification.

If you have done B-tech in electrical stream, better to try in power industries
ex: BHEL
ONGC
NTPC

well there are two way you can get job .

1.CAMPUS PLACEMENT :
many companies visit campus of different college if in your college company visit too then it
will be very easy for you to get job if you fulfill the criteria .so basic criteria is
60% throughout at which companies come to many campus with no live back
logs

2.WALK IN :

in walkin many MNC companies hire people on the basis of entrance test and later
interview and technical interview .it is more hard then campus placement as number of
candidates apply to these jobs are more and vacancies are too less .so one should be
very good in communication skill and technical knowledge and it would be better if you
have done some certification course . companies will notice about such activity one
month before exam so you have ample time to prepare for it .

hi..
the first thing you have to do is to maintain an good average till the final semester in the engineering course because this will influence in very long run the kind of jobs and companies which you can join after your completion of b.tech.
generally there are campus recruitment drives by companies which recruit the candidates in the final semester of colleges ,you can try to get job in those companies.
if your college does not have campus placement then you can submit your resume in websites like the TIMESJOB.COM ,monster.com etc.
these will help you in getting an job.
also if you have some one known to be working in an company you can take there reference for any openings in that company

Hi

Firstly take your study seriously and work on your communication skills

If you are good at your subject then you wont face any problem getting shortlist during campus placement.

You may apply to different job portals such as naukri.com, monster.com etc

You can appear for GATE exam as most PSU are taking candidates based on their GATE score.

All the best
