B.Tech stands for Bachelor of Technology. There are so many job opportunities in public and private sector after completion of this degree.

Nowadays Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering plays a vital role in getting jobs in public sector because of the fact that most of the Public Sector Undertakings short list candidates for interview and recruitment purposes on the basis of GATE score card.

Some of the PSUs which recruit candidates on basis of GATE scorecard:

1. Indian Oil and Gas Corporation Limited

2. National Thermal Power Corporation.

3. Bharat Heavy Electronics Limited

4. Oil and Natural Gas corporation limited and more.

So if you are appearing for GATE then try to score good marks and obtain good rank in the exam to get selected in these companies.

In Private Sector, there are on campus and off campus recruitment drives. If companies visit your college for recruitment purposes and you satisfy the eligibility criteria then you can get jobs after clearing the recruitment steps of the companies.
