If you have failed to make it through the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) there is no cheap way for you to get entry in a medical college. The options in front of you are few, if you are still looking to pursue Medical field.

Now since you failed to clear All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) there is no way for you to get admission in government medical colleges. Usually government medical colleges are the least expensive to study for the medical students. Now the only option in front of you is to get admission in private colleges through management quota.

All colleges no matter the stream, reserve some seats under management quota. They only offer admission under management quota for 2 reasons.

1. The candidate is very bright and has performed extremely well in the 12th board. Mostly if the candidate has scored more than 96 percent marks in the 12th board, there is a chance for him to get admission under management quota.

2. Second way which is the most common is selling of the seat. Unfortunately this is the way to term what colleges do. The college demand millions to give admission under management quota. What the media reports suggest is that in medical colleges the price of a seat under management quota is somewhere around Rs 50 Lakh to Rs 1 crore, depending on the college.

So if you have the kind of money mentioned above, you would get direct admission in the medical college without having to clear AIPMT. If you really choose this path, the common scam you would face is entry in government college through management quota.

Often medical candidates have talked about coming in contact with people who claim to sell government college seat under management quota. This is absolutely false. Its a scam please avoid it.Do not pay money to any such guy. Even in the case of direct entry via management quota, it is adviced to contact the college directly rather through through middlemen.

There is also an option to appear in the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) again next year and try to crack it this time around. Alternatively you can choose some other field such as Engineering, b.sc with biotechnology, pharmacy etc.

If you are preparing for the next AIPMT exam make sure you prepare using NCERT books because Objective-type questions in AIPMT are directly taken from the NCERT books.
