How good is the Telecom Engineering branch for better job opportunities?

I'm priyanka studying 3rd sem telecom engineer in CMRIT bangalore. I want to know how good is this branch in future. For better job oppurtunities what courses should i do and how to apply for it?...how good are the salaries for this courses..

telecom sector is one of the growing sector in todays world .
so its future is too bright .
if you want to go into that sector so just go for it.

Hi,
Dear Priyanka I am also a telecommunication engineer at working in TV channel as satellite Engineer from last 6 year.
Now I want to switch my career into network because there is not huge opportunity in satellite field.
Please advise what I should do to save my future.

Its a great branch in engg.. My frnd did telecom in PESIT now he is getting 10lakhs package. Its better than CS and IS i think.
