To become an IAS officer one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC once every year.
The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. You are now pursing in 10th standard so after completion of 12th in any stream you can apply, appear and crack CLAT. CLAT - Common Law Admission Test conducted by National Law university for admission to five year Integrated Law Degree(LL.B.). Accordingly you can crack CLAT after 12th to purse LL.B. course within the age of 20 years. After completion of Law Degree you are eligible to apply for Civil Service Examination to become an IAS officer with the above mentioned eligibility criteria. The selection is through three phases:- -CSAT - Civil Service Aptitude Test - Preliminary Exam -Civil Service Main Exam -Personal Interview For more information you may log on to http://www.upsc.gov.in |
