Re: How to join in AFMC being a candidate of 12th?
Dear Friend
AFMC stands for Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. AFMC conducts an entrance exam every year for admission in MBBS program in the college. The notification for the exam is generally published in December and application is process stays on for around one month. To be eligible for this exam } One should have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with at least 50% marks in each of these four subjects and at least 60% aggregate marks in 12th. } One's age should be between 17-24 years at the time of application (31st Dec of the year of application) } Candidates must be unmarried. The selection process will comprise of a written test followed by an Interview. Only those who qualify the written test are called for Interview. The syllabus of the written test is based on 11th, 12th standard so there is no special tip/trick to qualify the exam. As there are only 130 seats so competition is very tough but tough competition doesn't change ways of studying. You are just supposed to be master of everything which you study in 12th but don't go beyond your syllabus limit. You can say it study optimization. You have to study only and only those things that come in the scope of your board syllabus and/or entrance exam syllabus. Practice as much as you can. Never leave a gap of more than two weeks in studying a topic, even if you complete it so many times. Don't leave any topic considering it easy or hard.
