For Chartered Accountancy course, qualifying these examination are mandatory:

• Higher Secondary level of examination or Bachelors Degree examination
• Common Proficiency Test conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

The Common Proficiency Test is conducted in the following months every year:
June
December

To be able to take the test in the month of June, one must register before Ist April of the same year and to take the test in the month of December, registration must be done before Ist October of the same year.
