You have bachelor degree in commerce and if you aggregate come more than or equal to 50% marks than you can directly enroll for Executive level of Chartered Accountancy course.
You can also apply in articleship which is compulsory CA training after completing all the papers of CA IPCC examination. You can apply online of you may buy the prospectus and admission from it's centers. The list of centers is available in official website of Institute of chartered accountancy course. Re: How to join CA IPCC after doing B.Com?
Articleship comes once you have completed the IPCC. First step for you would be to take admission for IPCC. Now it is possible for the graduation degree holder to take direct admission for IPCC.
This means exemption from the Common Proficiency Test (CPT). But this is only given if the candidate has completed commerce graduation with 55 percent marks and non commerce graduation with 60 percent marks. If you failed to meet this criteria then you will have to do appear for the Common Proficiency Test. If you have scored 55 percent marks in B.Com then take admission for the IPCC course. After that you will have to go through 9 months of articleship. Integrated Professional Competancy Course (IPCC) Group 1 1. Accounting 2. Business Laws,Ethics and Communication 3. Cost Accounting and Financial Management 4. Taxation Group 2 5. Advanced Accounting 6. Auditing and Assurance 7. Information Technology and Strategic Management Final Course Group 1 1. Financial Reporting 2. Strategic Financial Management 3. Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics 4. Corporate and Allied Laws Group 2 5. Advanced Management Accounting 6. Information System control and Audit 7. Direct Tax Laws 8. indirect tax Laws |

Re: How to join CA IPCC after doing B.Com?
Hi,
You have to pass a number of examinations in order to complete Chartered accountancy course. the procedure to become a chartered accountant can be discussed as follows: 1)CPT(Common proficiency test)- This is an objective examination and there are four sections in the exam that are fundamentals of accountancy, economics, mercantile law, etc. 2)IPCC(Integrated professional competence course)- This is the second stage where you are required to clear seven subjective papers for example financial management, cost accounting, accountancy group 1, accountancy group 2, etc. 3)CA Final exam- This is the final exam, but before that you are required to complete three years of article hip training under a chartered accountant practicing in India. All the best.............. |

Re: How to join CA IPCC after doing B.Com?
Quote:
So, Being B.com Student you're eligible for IPCC Course . But, to appear in IPCC Course then you need to secure Minimum 55% Percentage of marks . You did't Mention you percentage of marks details here . So, I you score more then 55% Percentage of marks then definitely you're eligible for IPCC Course . IPCC stands for (Integrated Professional Competence Course) It's like an Intermediate course in CA Course . Subjects in IPCC Course :- -Information Technology and Strategic Management -Accounting -Business Laws,Ethics and Communication -Cost Accounting and Financial Management -Taxation -Advanced Accounting -Auditing and Assurance Three years Bachelor degree course or Equivalent Examination with Minimum 55% is the Minimum Educational qualification to apply for IPCC Course. Those candidate who are belong from Science then the applicant should score Minimum 60% Percentage of marks in Bachelor degree course . There is no age limit for this Course . So, If you satisfy the Criteria then you're eligible to participate in this Entrance Examination . |
