i am from surat n i have completed my post graduation in biotechnology from the same state . i want to serve the gujarat state by joining the police force. can u please tel me the procedure to get an entry in crime branch for the state. ]regards

***The Central Bureau of Investigation is the top most investigation agency in the country. CBI investigates the top and big cases in the country. For getting into that you need to write the exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

**Eligibility for CBI===>

~Applicants must have completed graduation from any recognized university.
~Minimum 21 years of age.
~The maximum age allowed is 27 years.
~Age relaxation is provided for reserved categories.
~5 years for SC/ST Candidates.
~3 years for OBC candidates.

**Physical Requirements:::::}
-HEIGHT: For Male-165 cms.
-For Female-150 cms.
-CHEST: MALE- 76 cms.

**Exam Paper Pattern===>
*The exam pattern is as follows.

1.Preliminary Examination.

2.Main Examination..

UPSC and SSC conduct exam to fill vacancies in CBI.

To become a group A Level Officer, the candidate has to pass an Civil Service Exam which is conducted by UPSC.
And become IPS officer.

You must have a degree in order to appear in UPSC.

Then, you will have to go through SSC CGL. To pass these exams you will have to work so hard.

Your age should be 20―25yr

Candidates also have to prescribed for physical standard.

I would recommend you that have your plan B ready because these exams are very tough.
