Sir, i am student of 12 bio. & want to join crime branch.
Please tell me the procedure.

**You are not eligible for Crime branche(CBI).
-To join CBI candidate should clear the Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year.

***Educational qualification::::

--You have to pass Graduation in any discipline from a University or equivalent.
*Desirable:-candidate should have a Knowledge of computer


**Age Limit----

::Candidate age must be in between 21 to 27 years

::3 years upper age relaxation for OBC candidates

::5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates

After completion of 12th standard, you can not join in Crime Branch so first complete your graduation degree then you can apply for crime branch through SSC CGL exam.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an Indian government organization which will recruit staff members for the various posts in the various departments and ministries.

Minimum qualification required to apply for this examination is completing a degree course from a recognized Institution.

Age criteria:-

1. Sub Inspectors in CPOs – 20 years to 25 years
2. Assistant / Sub Inspector in CBI – 20 years to 27 years
3. Statistical Investigators – Maximum 26 years
4. For all other posts – 18 years to 27 years.

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for crime branch.so first complete your graduation degree then you can apply for crime branch through SSC CGL exam.

Eligibility criteria==>>

1.candidate must have passes graduation degree from recognized university
2.candidate age minimum or maximum is 12 to 27 years.
3.candidate should have heavier knowledge of computer.
4.age relaxation process is for obc candidate is 3 years or sc/st candidate 5 years

Definitely you can go for the CBI .For this you have to appear in SSC CGL entrance examination. Staff Service Commission Combined Graduate Level exam. This exam is conducted by the SSC itself every year.

The basic eligibility criteria for this exam is, to have a bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised University with good percentile. Also the appearing aspirants age must lie in between 20 years to 28 years.


Since you have done your + 2. So you are advised to do your graduation degree course in any stream after that you can be eligible for the exam.

After 12th standard, you can not join crime branch. Minimum qualification is graduation from a recognized university.

You have to take up degree in Criminology.

You have to SSC exam to join Crime agency of India.

Your age should be between 20-27 years.

There is age relaxation for reserved category candidates.

You must be physically as well as mentally fit.

You must be citizen of India.

I am a B.Sc nursing student studying 2nd year. Am I eligible to B.Sc forensic science. I have completed my intermediate course with 92%.
