If you have completed your Intermediate examination with Arts then you are not eligible to apply for the NDA examination to Join Indian Air force. To Join Indian Air force you have to complete your Intermediate examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects. But you have from Arts stream, so you can only choose Army wings of NDA.

Arts candidates can not Join Indian Air force through NDA or CDS Examination.

You can only apply for AFCAT Ground duty Branch after completing Graduation with Minimum 60% marks. You can apply for the Administration and Logistic Branch of Indian Air force and for this you have to complete your Graduation in any discipline with Minimum 60% marks.

After Intermediate examination, You can only eligible to apply for Army wings of NDA. Notification Published twice in a year in the employment Newspaper or in the official UPSC website.

Your age should between 16.5 to 19 years to apply for NDA Examination, You must be unmarried to apply for NDA. Notification of Next year NDA(I) Examination is going to be published soon in December this year. or

Should have passed a 3 year Diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) with at least 50% mark.

Leading Aircraftsman - LAC
Corporal - CPL
Sergeant - SGT
Junior Warrant Officer - JWO
Warrant Officer - WO
Master Warrant Officer - MWO

Eligibility And Criteria:

• A candidate Must have completed their Graduation degree with at least 60% form recognized Universities.
  
• Final year students may also Applicable for IAF.
  
• Age should not Exist 28 years for general Category there is relaxation available for SC/ST and OBC category.
  
• A candidate have Nationality of INDIA.

For joining IAF you have to apply for it's Entrance exam and have to crack it.

This year exam Date was 9th July to 12th July which already Gone.

I am very sorry to say that, you are not eligible for this INDIAN AIR FORCE .But you can still apply for the INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY (IMA).

A candidates who want to join Indian army after 12th, must has to score at least 60% in 12th with subjects Physics & Maths .As you are an arts student, so you can apply for the Indian Air Force & Naval Academy (NA).

This NDA examination is conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (UPSC) every year for two times , i.e NDA/NA-I & NDA/NA-II.

Through this NDA examination a candidate can apply for the INDIAN AIR FORCE (IAF), NAVAL ACADEMY (NA) & INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY (IMA) .

For a IAF/NA aspirant, he must has to score at least 60% in 10+2 , For a IMA aspirant, he just has to pass the 12th standard WITH ANY STREAM..

The Selection Procedure--

1. WRITTEN TEST
2. SSB INTERVIEW
3. MEDICAL & PHYSICAL TEST


PHYSICAL TEST--





The age limit for this examination is 16.5-19 years,..There is not any kind age limit relaxation for any reserved category.

You must have Indian nationality.

You must be a unmarried MALE..

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for Indian Air force after passing 12th with Arts stream.

For Indian Air Force you have to pass 12th with Physics and Maths.

If you want you can join Indian Army.

For this you have to qualify the National Defence Academy exam..

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

Age limit for N.D.A exam is 165-19 year.

You have three stage to qualify:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

You are not eligible to apply for Indian Air Force wing of NDA with academic qualification as 12th Arts.

There is no requirement of any percentage of marks in 12th to apply for NDA.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA -II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate aspiring to join Indian Air Force wing of NDA, must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathemastics from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

Since you have done your class 12th, so you cannot apply for the Indian airforce.

After 12th only way to enter IAF is through the NDA exams.

Eligibilty to apply for the IAF wing of the NDA is 12th pass with physics and maths as subjects in class 12th
Age should be between 16.5 to 19 years

But since you have passed class 12th in ARTS, you can still apply for the Army wing under the NDA

Next NDA exams would be held on 11th august 2013
