how can we join indian army if my age is 16 years old...pleas tell me how to do it

if your age is 16 years and you have atleast pass your 10th board exam then you can give the nda exam and go for indian army or you can contact your rajya sainik board office where you can get various details of various exam that will occur to join the indian army.

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to join Indian Army with an age of 16 years.

Because, the minimum age with which a candidate can join in Indian Army is with 16 1/2 years.

For this, the candidate has to crack NDA Exam which is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

Not only for Army,the candidates can also join other Defence services like
-Navy
-Air Force by cracking this Exam.

But in order to be eligible for this Exam,
-One should have completed 12th class with any of the stream from a recognized institute.
-To join Navy and Air Force wings, one should have completed 12th class with Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects.
-Candidates who are pursuing final year of 12th class are also eligible to appear for this exam.

As per age criteria, the required age limit that a candidate should be to appear for this exam is 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

One should be an unmarried male candidate to appear for this Exam.

You did not mention your highest level of academic qualification. If you possess the above mentioned eligibility criteria, then I suggest you to have good preparation for NDA Exam and crack it.

Dear friend you cannot join army
you have to be minimum 16.5 yrs to join army with 12th completed through NDA exam
N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year..

Ya ….but you continue your studies and after passing 12th you can join Indian arny through NDA exam.

N.D.A stands for NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY.It is conducted by U.P.S.C twice a year.

There are three branches in N.D.A.
They Are:-
1.ARMY
2.NAVY.
3.AIR FORCE.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
>The candidate should be citizen of India.
>He should be unmarried male candidate only.
>The height should be above 157.7 cms.
>The eye sight must be 6/6 or 6/9.
>The age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
>For Army,the candidate must be 10+2 with any stream.
>For Navy or Air Force the candidate must be 10+2 with maths and physics as compulsory subjects.
>The candidates who are pursuing 12 th class can also apply.

INTERVIEW PROCESS:
>Written Test.
>S.S.B Interview For Intelligence Test.

Sorry to say, but you are not eligible for any defense recruitment at this age. As the minimum recruitment age for NDA is 16.5 . The NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. Visit upsconline.nic.in for online registration.

Sorry, you can not join Indian Army at the age of 16 years, the minimum age to join Indian Army through NDA is 16.5 years.

NDA-NATIONAL DEFENCE SERVICE exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be a unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any discipline from a recognised Central/State Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age with good physical health, is eligible apply for Indian Army of NDA.

As you are interested you can apply for NDA-II exam 2012, the notification for which will come out in the month of May 2012 followed by exam in the month of August 2012.

I am sorry you are not eligible for ARMY through the 16 years of age

For entering in to the army you must have minimum age is 16.5 years and minimum 12th qualification.

And you can enter the army through the NDA exam

NDA Stands for National Defence Academy.

The education qualification needed for the NDA exam is that the candidate should have completed +2 from a recognized school board of education with a fair percentage.

The NDA exam is conducted for joining in Indian Defence services and the above criteria is for Indian Army and in the case of joining in Indian Navy or Air Force you need to have completed +2 with Physics and Mathematics as subjects with a fair percentage.

As you are not satisfying that you are not eligible for the exam,so it is better that you continue your studies and then apply for the exam.
