Sorry to say that you are not eligible to join Navy. HSC passed candidates having studied physics and mathematics as subjects can only apply. But you can join to Army by qualifying NDA exam. Your age must be less than 19 years. Also, you must be an unmarried male candidate.

Hi,

A 12th standard candidate having science stream with

physics/mathematics/chemistry can do NDA for Indian Navy job.

Eligibility:

1.N D A : mean's National Defence Academy.This exam conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

2. A 12th standard can do this exam.

3.To appear in NDA percentage of 12 standard mark is not mandatory.

4.Unmarried male Indian citizen can write NDA exam.

5.To do NDA eye sight must be normal 6''/6'' and height not less than 157cms.

6.Candidate must be free from night blind and color blind.

You cannot apply for Indian Navy as you ahve studied commerce in Class 12th
But you can apply for the Indian Army

You have to apply for the NDA Exams

NDA exams are conducted by UPSC and below is the eligibity:

Educational Qualifications:
Army Wing-12th Pass in any stream
Navy & Airforce Wing- 12th Pass with Subject Physics and Maths as subjects.

AGE-
Minimum age 16.5 years
Maximum age- 19 years

Only Unmarried Male candidates can apply

Selection Procedure involves:

Indian Navy After 12th Commerce

National Defence Academy Examination is the thing that can help you achieve your dream right now..

The NDA Exam is held in April and August by UPSC..

According to the UPSC guidelines..following criterion should be met in order to write the examination :-

1) Applicant can only be an unmarried male..

2) Candidates who have completed their 12th through a recognized board are eligible for appearing in the NDA Exam..

3) The candidates who wish to apply for Navy and Air Force should have Physics and Maths in 12th..

4) There is no percentage restriction..

5) There is no age relaxation or any bar on the number of attempts..

Since you have passed out your 12th with Commerce background hence I am really very sorry but you are not applicable to join the Indian Navy..

However you can still apply for the Indian Army if you wish to..

The NDA exam has 3 phases :-

> Written Exam

> Personal Interview Round

> Physical Examination

The written exam has 2 papers based on Maths and General Ability

You should have studied Mathematics and Physics for Navy

UPSC conducts this exam for joining various wings of Indian Defence - Navy/ Army and Air force.

Requirements to join Indian navy ~~

You should have studies Physics and Mathematics in intermediate, from a recognised central or state board.


Your age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

You should be an Unmarried male candidate.

So, you can see that you don't satisfy the educational criteria for Indian Navy, but you can join Indian army with any subjects in Intermediate.

Therefore you can apply for NDA exam and join Indian Army afterwards.

The exam is conducted in three stages -

Written exam
SSB interview
Physical examination.

Sorry to say but you cannot join Indian Navy after passing 12th with Commerce with 76% marks.

After 12th , candidates can join Indian Defense in the following wings through the NDA Exam :

* Indian Army

* Indian Navy

* Indian Air Force

But the Minimum educational qualification required to appear in the NDA Exam is 12th with PCM from any recognized board.

So , since , you have passed 12th with Commerce stream instead of PCM , you cannot join Indian Navy as you are considered ineligible for the NDA Exam.

The Other Requisites for NDA Exam are :

* The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.

* The Age Of The Candidate must lie in between 16.5-19 years.

* No relaxation in age is given to any candidates.

* Only Male candidates are allowed to appear for the NDA Exam.

* The candidates must be unmarried.

indian navy can be joined after class 12th but with physics, chemistry and maths stream, only pcm stram student can join navy after 12th ,any one from non science bachground can not join navy,

but there is option for army wing for other than science students also, for which they have to claer nda, nda is conducted twice a year for whicha student must be above 16.5 and less than 19 ,
must be unmarried male,
must not be suffering from any disease
