i am in 12th science ( HSC board Maharashtra state). my weight is 35kg & hight is 5 fit 1 inch can i joint Indian navy?

there are various types of forms to join indian navy after passing 12. and height reuired in indian navy is 157cm

You are underweight for your height and and age.
With this weight you can't join Indian Navy.

In Indian Navy weight is relaxable upto 6Kgs over or under the mentioned weight.
But your weight is lower than the minimum weight so your present weight do not
makes you fit for it.
You should now concentrate on your health to gain some weight so that you could
become eligible to appear the SSB interview.

For your qualification NDA examination is the best mode of entry in NAVY.
The N.D.A.& N.A. Examination is conducted by UPSC twice a year generally.

The entrance exam comprises of two papers; 1. Mathematics and 2. General Ability Test

The mathematics paper is of 300 marks and questions use to be of 10+2 level.
The General Ability Test paper comprises of questions from English and General Knowledge.

Iam really sorry to say this friend with your weight you can't can't apply for NDA.


NDA examination is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year.

i.e NDA-I and NDA-II.


NDA has three wings:-

##Indian navy,

##Indian airforce,

##Indian army.


Eligibility criteria:-

Candidate should have to complete 12th standard from any recognised state or central board.

Percentage is not required to appear this exam.

12th standard exams appearing candidates also eligible.

Candidate must be physically fit.

Candidate should be a indian origin.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

Girls are not eligible.

The age limits are 16.5years to 19years, no upper age relaxation.

You are eligible for appearing in the exam,but your weight according to the requirement is much less.You should be atleast 50kg or more.
For more details about your body weight and height,refer to the BMI(Body Mass Index).
First make your diet full of nutritional supplements and try to increase your weight and then apply for the exam.
