sir,how can i will join National Defence Academy ? i'm studying in 10+2 in science group.
please reply, as soon as possible.

UPSC conducted NDA and NA examination twice a year.They publish advertisement in leading news paper and employment news.

Age limit:16.5 to 19 yrs.

Male candidates only allowed to appear this examination.

To join NDA you should be 12th pass candidate and your age must be between 16.5 to 19 years and the most important is that you will have to clear NDA exam conducted by UPSC.

Well you can write for the NDA exam after your 12th exam. the exam consists of written test and an interview.

The questions are of multiple choice and regarding the general awareness and the indian history,civics,and geography,sciences.

the maximum age limit should not exceed 19 years.

after 12th science you can apply for NDA exam.youn can purchase form any specified head office as mentioned in the employment news. otherwise you can apply through on line www.upsconline.nic. the exam usually held in the month of April.you can find the information through employment news 3 months before.

NDA exams are conducted by UPSC twice every year.You can check the details of notification on the official website.

Eligibility for NDA EXAM:

Age: 16½ to 19 years.

Marital Status and gender: Unmarried male candidates

Educational Qualification:
(i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

Physical Fitness:
Candidates must be physically fit according to the prescribed physical standards.

In order to join the NDA , you need to have the following qualifications:-

1.) 10+2 pass candidates with physics , chemistry , maths with a minimum of 70%

2.) Only unmarried male candidates are allowed.

3.) Age limitation is between 16.5 -19 years.

4.) Minimum height -157 cm with 5 cm chest expansion.

5.) Eyesight should be 6/6 of both the eyes.

So , if you fall in this criteria , then you can apply for it.

-> 10+2 pass candidates with physics , chemistry , maths with a minimum of 55-60% marks.

-> Age limitation is between 16.5-19 years with no relaxation.

-> Only unmarried male candidates can apply for it.

-> Minimum height should be 157.5 cm with 5 cm chest expansion.

-> No color blindness with 6/6 eyesight.

This exam's eligibility criteria is :

Age between 16.5 to 19 years
10 + 2 from a recognized board
Physically fit

You can buy forms in the months of october and november, and submit them by december last.

The NDA exam is held in the month of april, next year after you fill the form.

The 10+2 elementary questions are asked, history, and general knowledge also is questioned.

NDA: National Defence Academy and this examination was conducted by UPSC every year 2 times.If you want to join army wings,then you have to applyfor NDA examination.To apply for this examination you ahve to satisfied the given eligibility criteria:

• you have to complete your 12th examination from a rcognized board.
• your age should be 16.5 to 19 years.
• Final year 12th candidates are also apply for NDA examination.

There is no minimum percentage is required to apply NDA examination.
The selection are based on written test ,medical test and personal interview conductd by SSB.

So, please wait for the notification and then apply for NDA 2012 examination and for complete details visit the official website.
