NDA Stands for National Defence Academy examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year as namely NDA I and NDA II .

NDA Examination is conducted in 3 wings:

• Indian Air Force
• Indian Navy
• Indian Army

If you have completed 12th standard from recognized board with science department you are applicable for NDA exam.Commerce and Arts student are applicable for only Indian Army branch.

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.There are no are no age relaxation for Reserved category . Only unmarried male candidate are applicable for NDA exam.You must have citizenship of India.

Your date of birth is 02/02/1994 so you are not applicable for NDA exam because your age is over 19 years at time of NDA Exams notification .

The selection procedure for NDA exam is 1) Written Test. 2) Personal Interview.

So if you are interested in the field of Indian Air force , you should first complete your graduation degree.After the completion of graduation degree you can apply in CDS ,AFCAT Exam.

To join the NDA you need to appear for the NDA exam.
this exam is conducted under the guidance of UPSC and is conducted 2 times a year.

through this exam one can join any of the three wings of defence like Army , navy and air-force.

the eligibility criterion for this exam is-

For joining the National Defence Academy NDA, you have to give the NDA paper which is conducted by the upsc twice in a year.
For giving the exam you should be in class 12th and your age should be in between 16.5-19 years of age. There is no specification required for the subjects in the army and navy fields. But for joining the Indian air force, you should have physics and mathematics as your main subjects in class 12th.

*Educational Qualifications:
Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination conducted by a state education board or a university

Air Force and Naval Wing of National Defence Academy and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination

* Age limit:- 16.5-19 yrs.
* Sex:- Male.
* Nationality:- Indian.
* Marital status:- Unmarried or single.
* Physically and mentally fit.

Sorry , you are not eligible for National Defence Academy because your age is over 19 years.....

WHEN THE NDA EXAM TAKEPLACE?AND WHAT ARE IT'S PROCEDURES?

National Defence Academy can be joined by cracking its entrance exam conducted two times by UPSC for an entry n to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

Qualification Required for NDA:-

-The eligible candidate must be a Male Indian unmarried candidate only.
-Should have either appeared for the final 12th exam or passed in any stream from a recognized Board.
-Should be within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with no upper age relaxation for any reserved category candidate.
-The candidate should have possessed good Physical and Mental Health.

The NDA can only be applied through on line by paying requisite fee for the exam.

The selection is through written exam, Personal Interview, Physical Fitness Test and finally through Medical; Test.

The 2nd National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) entrance examination will be conducted on 11th August, 2013.

The exam, which is carried out by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), will be held for admission to 130 Army, Navy and Air Force Course and 92 Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) for 2013 session.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should:

Have a XII Class / Equivalent passed certificate conducted by State Board / Universities. Those appearing for the exam can also apply provided they furnish the proof of passing the Class XII exam at a later date as specified by the UPSC.

Have Physics & Maths in 10+2 if he has applied for Navy & Air Force.

Be an unmarried male.

Be between 16 1/2 to 19 years of age.

Be physically fit.

Exam Pattern

The written test has 2 papers both of which will last for 150 minutes each:

Mathematics: Topics to be covered include Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics

General Ability: This paper includes English & GK. Questions from Physics, Chemistry, General Science, History & Freedom Movement, Geography and Current affairs will be asked in the GK section.

Last Date for Online Registration: 03-06-2013.

Can i gave the entrance exam of NDA From 10th?

No,you can't give NDA exam just after 10th.
To join NDA you must clear 12th standard.
Student who are appearing in 12th standard are also eligible for NDA.
There are three stages-
1 entrance exam
2 interview
3 medical and physical
There is also another option to join i.e. Technical entry.
In technical entry you don't need to give entrance exam and you will be called for direct SSB.
But you are eligible for technical entry if you score 70% or more in PCM in 12th standard.
