Hi,
An individual advocate practicing profession from small home offices and crowded cubicles and rooms – grandly called “chambers” – attached to various courts. Lawyers have also ample career options in Law schools and collages as a teacher/professor. In addition to this Lawyers also can join politics because they have large public contacts. These non-profit organizations like NGOs are need the service of Lawyers. International agencies like UNO, ILO, and ICJ also employ Lawyers of good reputation and track records. Re: How is Law course as a career? What is its scope?
LAW is a great career choice.
But for most people it turns out to be a road of great struggle, as the earnings in starting 10 years are very low Law practice depends on you experience and it depends on on time you have spent in practice. I would suggest you to do law only from some top college and take up job in some law firm and then earn a good living and try to develop a good Career. |

Re: How is Law course as a career? What is its scope?
hi friend, After completing LLB, you can practice as an Advocate or as a Solicitor. An advocate first begins his career as a junior assistant to an experienced advocate. After gaining sufficient practice, he will enter actively in court. A solicitor is one who offers legal advice to clients from various sectors including business. You can decide how to start your career. Reference books for LLB includes The Law Machine, Public law( Clarendon Law S), Learning Legal Rules: A Student’s Guide to Legal Method and Reasoning etc. goood luck |
