Re: How many times am I eligible for IAS prelims exam? What will I do to prepare for IAS exam?
Dear friend, to be eligible for IAS preliminary exam you should be below the age of 30 years is you are in general category.
For general and OBC category people the age limit is in between 21 to 30 years and the chances to attempt for the exam are limited to 4 and 7 respectively. For SC/ST category the age relaxation is upto 5 years i.e. they can appear for the exam till the age of 35 and there is no limit on the chances available for attempting for the exam for the SC/ST candidates. You are still below 30 years so anyhow you are still eligible to take the exam as you are giving it for the first time. |
