IIT JEE conducted by IIT for admission to under Graduate B.Tech. Engineering degree course.
The eligible candidate must be an Indian Citizen having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board. A candidate can appear for IIT JEE for two times in his life time that to consecutively, one in the year of passing 12th and other in the next year. IIT JEE is Indian Institute Of Technology , conducted twice in a year for admission to IIT's . Eligibility :- Passed 10+2 level from recognized school , and have obtained 60% in Board exam and must have Physics, Chemistry ,Maths subject . Age Limit :- 17 - 23 years of age . No.Of attempts :- 2 times in consecutive years. Important Dates ... The online application for both JEE (Main) – 2013 as well as JEE (Advanced) – 2013 will be available from 8th November 2012 (Thursday) to 15th December 2012 (Saturday). Any candidate who wants to appear for JEE (Advanced) – 2013 examination must appear for the JEE (Main) – 2013, Paper-1. Online application form will be available at the website http://www.jeemain-edu.in/. Format of the JEE (Advanced) – 2013 examination :- There will be two separate objective type (Multiple Choice Question) papers, namely Paper-1 and Paper-2. The duration of each paper will be 3 hours. The questions for the both the papers will be in Hindi and in English. The JEE (Advanced) - 2013 examination will be held on 2nd June 2013 (Sunday). As per the New Exam Rule you cannot be able to Take Admission in IIT-JEE.
For taking Admission in IIT you will have to appear for the JEE(Joint Engineering Entrance) Exam. In order to appear in this Exam you will require the Following ability:- >>You must be passed out in 10+2 from Recognized university/Board. >>You must have SCIENCE stream with Physics,Mathematics,Chemistry. Age details:- >>In order to appear in this exam your age should not be above 25 years. Marks:- >>Your minimum marks in 10+2 should be 70% if you have done 10+2 from CBSE/ICSE Board. >>If you have completed your 10+2 from state board then your minimum marks should be 65%. After getting a Rank within 1,50,000 in the first stage of JEE Exam you will be allowed to appear in IIT-JEE Exam which is now Know JEE-ADVANCED. AIEEE and IIT-JEE are old terms of Engineering Entrance Examination now. Now, JEE Mains and Advanced Exam are the exams that are gateway to NITs, IITs, etc. JEE Mains Exam for 2013 will be commenced on 7 April, 2013. JEE Advanced Exam for 2013 will be commenced on 2 June, 2013. For appearing in JEE Advanced Exam (IIT-JEE Exam), you will have to crack JEE Mains Exam first. As well as, you must be in the Top 20 Percentile of your Board. You will get only 3 attempts to crack JEE Mains Exam (AIEEE Exam).
