i m very confused....i hv already taken admission in an iit institute providing coaching for iit jee...but now i want to pursue architecture through iit..Is it necessary to crack iit jee<phy, maths, chem.> paper test for opting fr architecture...?and also how do i get coaching for it?

there is no need to crack iit exam with physics, chemistry ,maths for the architecture stream .

for your kind information for the architecture there is no subjects like physics and chemistry are present.

so you cant do better preparation for architecture exam through iit coaching.

you can get best architecture college by giving exams like AIEEE OR NATA ( national aptitude test for architecture) .
you can get admission in iit kharagpur and another best colleges through above mentioned exams.

so you have to change your coaching.
because subjects for architecture exam are
1) mathematics
2) aptitude test
3) drawing test

there are good coaching centers in mumbai for architecture .
you have get admission in those coaching centers where the coaching of above mentioned subjects takes place.

hii as you have already taken admission into IIT it is not possible to switch to architecture now so you to give the iit exam again and with the architecture subject as mentioned in
the application form

no, you do not need to do maths,physics, chemistry, that is for b.tech.
for doing b.arch from iit you need to practice freehand drawing, Geometrical drawing , Three-dimensional perception , Imagination and aesthetic sensitivity , Architectural awareness for aptitude test .maths is same for b.tech and b.arch . but cut off is less than that of for b.tech . iit bombay ,kanpur and kharakpur provide b.arch facility .
various other colleges are there for b.arch through aieee i.e. spa delhi, spa bhopal , are two other good colleges .

IIT for B.Arch

IF you are going in for B.Arch then your going to the IIT-JEE coaching institute is of no use..because IIT does not conduct any exam or offer any course to undergraduate students for Architecture..

You can appear for B.Arch exam in AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Exam)..clearing this exam with a good rank will enable you to take admission into some of the top Architecture colleges in India..

the exam will comprise of three sections :-

1) Maths
2) Aptitude
3) Drawing

No my friend, it is not necessary that to become an Architecture you have to crack JEE. Yes you have to the following things very well which are ..

1. Planning
2. Drawing
3. Mathematics
4. Aptitude

If you have the good idea in the above topics then anybody will not affect you in your work.

Don't you worry.
It is not necessary to crack IIT JEE for admission in architecture field. You must think about AIEEE Paper 2 for B.Arch. This paper do not contain physics or chemisty but you must study them for 12th board for completing eligibility criteria. It contains Mathematics, apptitude test and drawing. So you must leave your coaching and join any such coaching which coaches above mentioned subjects.BEST OF LUCK

No, you need not to study Chemistry and Physics if you want to take B.Arch for future.

You will have these subjects only:
Aptitude Test
Drawing
Mathematics

For doing B.Arch from any reputed college, you must give entrance exams like NATA, AIEEE(Engineering/Architecture/Pharmacy), etc.

So, it is not necessary for you to crack IIT-JEE exam for getting admission in B.Arch Course.
