How may I get solution of following aptitude question?
in a group of 30 person,a total of 16 take tea while 9 take tea but not coffee. how many person in this group take coffee but not tea
please reply soon |

If it says that out of 30 person 16 takes tea.
9 person tea but not coffee (it means the 9 persons too take tea as well). Person consuming tea= 16+9 = 25 30-25= 5 Remaining 5 people do not take anything. So the number of person taking coffee will be zero (0), as it is nowhere mentioned that every person will have to choose either tea or coffee. These types of questions are asked to confuse you. But also to find out how simply you solve a problem which look complex in nature. |
