Re: How to be a Mechanical Engineer after passing SSLC exam with 72.96%
Both the options will help you to become a mechanical engineer. 12th passed candidates ( in science) need to attend entrance exams like AIEEE or IIT JEE to join B.E/B.Tech in mechanical engineering. Diploma holders can join directly to 2nd year of engineering degree. This is possible through lateral entry scheme. So diploma in mechanical engineering is quite a better option.
