The cutoff depends from one entrance to other entrance examination there are various entrances in our India for Engineering

The entrances are like IIT JEE ,AIEEE,SRMEEE,VITEEE, local Entrace examinations like EAMCET and all.

So each and every entrance will have different Patterns and different mark structure

depending on that , experts will analyse the marks of year by year
In that way you will be knowing the cutoff for different entrances anyways you have not mentioned clearly about for which entrance you need cut off
please mention the details clearly so that we can help you out

if we choose B.tech depends upon your branch & college it have some constant fee for all engineering colleges.For me its upto 30,000/- fee i have paid during my counseling & the choosen department.

you can get B.TECH seat... but you have to take care while choosing the colleges...colleges play an important role while choosing....

choose the college according to their placement record,alumni association,infrastructure,teaching staffs....

but,it is difficult to get seat in government institutions...

You should have atleast mentioned in which you have scored these marks.

If you are talking of AIEEE, then yes, you can Btech in any one of NIT according to your rank.

If you are talking of IITjee, then you are on just verge of cut off , its difficult to say, may or may not.

If you are talking about BITSAT, then forget about btech in BITS, marks are too low.

1) If I score around 175 in AIEEE 2011, what will be my scope of getting BE(CS)?
