NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.This exam is conduct twice time in a year.

The candidate must have a complete the 12th from a recognized university Or equivalent qualification are applicable for NDA exam.

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th examination can also apply for the examination.

The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. You must have Citizenship of India.

The Candidates from SC/ST category are having the Exemption from the payment of fee, the others can pay rs.50 in state bank of India.

You can fill up the application form through Online or Offline both process .For both process you should visit upsc website .

You are eligible to work in Indian Army Upto age of your 46 years old.Any Indian force have this restriction .

Fee for the NDA Exam :

Rs.50/- for obc,oc castes.
For SC,ST castes its Free[For those who come under the exemption of fee]

Availability of forms:

You should apply online application here at UPSC website before 22nd December, 2012 to 21st January, 2013 till 11.59 p.m.

Else the link will be not available,after the time expires the link will get disable.so dont get late for the applying of application.

Max. time bound after joining indian army :

It depends on the army person efficient work and the grade he has and willingness to work in the NDA.But the person can pnly work till he/she reaches 46.Valid to all the army candidates.

Note:Only unmarried can apply.
Students should be unmarried while applying for the post and after selection they should get married till 1year(Since it is Training Period).

NDA exams is conducted by UPSC twice each year.
The next exams that will be conducted in the year 2013 are:
>> Exam date-7th April 2013
Notification will com eout on -22nd December 2012
last date to apply - 21st January 2013

>> Exam date-11th August 2013
Notification will com eout on -4th May 2013
last date to apply - 3rd june 2013

ELIGIBILTY--
ARMY WING- 12th pass
Airforce and NAVY wing- 12th pass with Physics and Maths as subjects

AGE- Minimum 16.5 years
Maximum 19 years
Fees- Rs 50/-

Only Unmarried Male can Apply for NDA.

If you want to fill the form yourself the forms are available online on UPSC site but you have to submit a draft for which you will be charged 50 rupees. If you want to fill the form through internet cafe you will be charged 150 rupees.
Once you joined you can work up to the age of 45-46 years. I also want to say you a best of luck.

NDA - National Defence Academy exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for an entry in to three wings of NDA:-

-Indian Army
-Indian Navy
-Indian Air Force

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical Fitness.

The NDA can be applied through on line only. The fees for the exam is Rs.50.00 for General and OBC candidate which will be deposited through SBI cash counter/SBI Debit Card/Net Banking.

There is absolutely no fees for the candidate from SC/ST category.
