how much marks require in cpt exam in dec 2012...please tell me how much

Chartered Accountancy Common Proficiency Test is one of the most sought entrance exam for candidates who want to join Chartered Accountancy course and become Chartered Accountant.

The entrance exam is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India. This exam is conducted twice every year in the month of June and December respectively.

Questions asked in this entrance exam is mainly from given below four subjects:

>>Fundamentals of Accounting.

>>Mercantile laws.

>>General Economics

>>Quantitative aptitude.

This exam consists of objective questions of 200 marks. Negative marking is applicable for wrong answers, 0.25 for each wrong answer and 1 mark for each correct answer.

Passing marks for CA CPT exam:

In order to pass the CPT exam, a candidate need to clear each paper of CPT with at least 30% marks in it and the overall aggregate of candidate should be 50% of total marks.
