The Minimum Percentage required for an M.phil according to UGC is 55%. so, i don't think that you will be able to enroll for M.Phil with 54% or even a 54.41%.

Dear sir I have completed M.A.(History) from distance education from University Of Mumbai. Percentage :- 44.25% in 2004.

after long back am i eligible for the course of M.Phil. in History (Marathi Medium)

any option in `University of Mumbai or University of Pune`.
