Respected Sir, I am studying in class 12th and after completing it I want to become a Charted Accountant so I want to know how much should I score in class 12th to be eligible for pursuing Charted Accountant course? Please answer as soon as possible.

A candidate who have passed the 12th examination from recognized board are eligible to apply to register for the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) for the CA progamme. There are no restrictions with regard to the age of the candidate or marks secured in Senior Secondary examination.

You just need to qualify the +2 examination.There is no specific percentage required in 12th.After passing 12th you have to register for CPT (Common Proficiency Test) conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India.

After appearing CPT you have to register for IPCC which will be followed by Computer Training, Articleship training, management course & the final course.
