How many stipend are provided to a MTEC student in IITS & NITS.

stipend is provided by IITs and NITs to the M.tech students are 8000-10000.
so if you get the seat or you want to do the course from here .

While applying for gate exam inadvertently selected the Caste as 'General' instead of 'OBC non creamy layer'. But got the admission in the college under OBC category. Gate score obtained is 26.4( Cut of for OBC is 24.2). Stipend not permitted. Is it possible to get stipend under OBC category or any grievance procedure is available to get stipend.
