if ur clg is providing any claases for placement preparation like pdp classes then do concentrate on it.
if not den do practise for quant aptitude. solve the question paper of company placement. also work on ur communication skill as well as gain subject knowledge more and more..you will definitly get what you deserve...all the best

1 Written Test which includes general ability and technical test related to your branch
2 Group Discussion
3 Interviews which include HR as well as technical also
While preparing for interview make sure you are strong in one subject of your choice as recruiters generally ask for a particular subject

You need to prepare your core subjects first of all that is asked in the written and in interview. It can be prepared from your course books and with the help of seniors.

Also contact your seniors for needed help that would be definitely required.

Then you need to prepare aptitude,reasoning and quantitative that comes in the written exams. It can be prepared from RS Aggarwal Books.

How to prepare for MAT examination

You can prepare for the campus placement by registering yourself to the training and placement department of your college if you have one .

Otherwise you can yourself also prepare for the campus placement .
Generally in the campus placement there are three criteria of selection ::
1)Written test
2)Group Discussion(GD)
3)Personal Interview(PI)

In the written test you will be asked questions from the verbal ability , logical and reasoning , analytical , and your technical paper .
In the GD you will be given any topic and you have to speak on that .
And in the personal interview you will be asked questions from you technical field , from the experience if any , and the general mental questions .

To prepare for the written test there are many book in the marks which you can purchase and start preparing from them .You just have to practice them .
For the GD , you together with your friends have to go the GD regularly in the hostel.
For the PI you just have to mentally prepared because the questions are not that tough in the interview you just have to answer them properly...

For preparing through the college campus placements, you should keep the following points in your mind
- No backlogs and 60%. Ther should be no live back at the time of your placement drive and your percentage should be minimum in class X, XII and graduation because the maximum number of companies have set up the same criteria for all the students.
- The next thing is that you should also be aware of the quantitative aptitude and english as most of the companies these days take a written test first, and then you’re allowed to go to the next level only after clearing your aptitude paper.
- Prepare yourself with a good communicatio skills. After clearing your aptitude paper, you will be taken to the next level of group discussion and personel interview. In facing up the GD&PI you should be very sound in your language because this is the only thing which will help you to get your job from this stage.
