Dear Friend,
It is very nice that you want to become an IAS officer in future and want to serve the nation.
The examination for the IAS officer is conducted by the UPSC in the form of Civil Service Examination.
The candidate who want to go for the Civil Service Examination should has to qualify the following two criteria.
Educational Qualification :-
The candidates should be a graduate in any stream. The College from which the candidate has done graduation should be recognized by the govt. body.

Age limit Criteria :-
For general category candidate the age limit criteria is 21 years to 30 years.
Age relaxation of 3 years is provided to OBC candidates and age relaxation of 5 years is provided to SC/ST candidates.

So to prepare for the examination you can join any coaching center.
If you want to prepare by your self then you can do the following.
  • Prepare for the Aptitude test. You can consult good books like R.S Agarwal,s book.
  • Prepare mathematics of class 8 to 10 of CBSC board.
  • Prepare for the English grammer.
