Re: How to prepare for CSAT and where should I start from?
hi friend.
you dont worry about new pattern i.e csat it is same as previous but instead of prelims it is replaced. for this upsc will give the syllabus and accordingly we should prepare. this exam is divided into two papers general studies and general ability. best choice to prepare for csat is all ncert books from class vi to x history, geography, india's struggle for independence by bipin chandra. CSAT 2011 will be held on June 12, 2011. The Notificaion for CSAT will be carried my all major newspapers of India on February 19, 2011. About 3,00,000 people are expected to take the test and about 11,000 people will be qualified for the Civil Services (Mains) Exam. now get prepared from now itself. all the best. |

Re: How to prepare for CSAT and where should I start from?
hi!
The examination structure of CSAT comprises of one paper consisting of questions from general studies and the other paper focusing on the aptitude skills of the students. So, you must focus on gk, reasoning & quantitative aptitude. You should make the habit of reading some good newspaper daily like the hindu or times of india. It will keep you updated about latest events. You can also refer these magazines for GK: pratiyogita darpan the year book yojna Since the aptitude paper is included for the 1st time, there is no information available about it. Just try to solve model aptitude paper. |
