I am a student of B.Sc. 2nd year and I want to prepare for JAT chemistry plz tell me how to prepare and also about the helpful books for the subject.

Joint Admission Test which is conducted by the IISC Bangalore and it is the entry level test for the integrated PH.d program such as M.Sc - Ph.d. course. and other post graduate degree courses of study offered by IIT.

In order to appear for the JAT examination you should satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria such as

• Should have attained 55% of the marks in your bachelor degree course
• Should have the proof of clearing the Finale year degree course

Candidates who have short listed in the JAM examination are only eligible to get the seat in the IIT M,etc for admission and they are offered the respective branch of study

The examination is generally conducted in 7 papers in total such as

• Biological Sciences
• Biotechnology
• Chemistry
• Geology
• Mathematics
• Mathematics Statistics
• Physics

These are the different papers on which the examination is conducted and you can opt for any one of this paper.

How to prepare for exam:

• Beign your prepapration with well known topics first
• Know well about marking science and negative marking
• Make a list of the topics in your subject and give preference accoring to the marks and prepare
• Try to solve many mock tests
• Buy best reference books
• Do not take full stress at the time of examination
