Instructions to be followed for filling AIEEE form

The candidates should always be careful while filling the form.

The details regarding the centre of the exam and the elective subjects must be mentioned clearly in the form.
There should not be any crossing out or any other rewriting on the form.
The candidates must also remember NOT to submit any other forms or copy of certificates alongside their applications other than Demand Draft. The original documents which affirm the candidate’s eligibility should be provided ONLY at the time of the interview
Candidates must have a valid email address before they submit the online application. The AIEEE online application must be filled in with correct information. In case the details provided are wrong, the application might get rejected.
Candidate must retain a copy of the computer generated application form as well as a copy of mode of payment. After submitting the AIEEE form online, a confirmation page will be generated. Applicants are required to download the confirmation page, paste their current photos, signature as well as contact details on it and send it to the office of the CBSE alongside a DD of the required amount (candidates also have an option to pay the fees by credit/debit cards too).

In case the candidate is submitting the application by means of offline method, ensure to purchase the application form from authorized centres only. The AIEEE form can be bought from Indian Banks or Syndicate bank. The candidates also have an option to buy the form from the regional office of the CBSE. While filling up offline form, the candidates must make sure that no typo errors occur. Applicants must fill the form only by using blue or black pens and pencil, as mentioned in the prospects. Applicants must go through the application thoroughly after filling the application. Incase the form is not complete; it will stand a chance of getting rejected.

Exemptions to be taken care while filling in form

A few exceptions are prescribed for certain student groups. Every applicant should be aware of them before filling the application form; they are:

Candidates belonging to the SC, ST and PH reserved categories will have an age relaxation of up to 5 years.
Those candidates who belong to the category of Ex – Servicemen will also have an age relaxation of 5 years.
Candidates belonging to the general and OBC categories will have to pay only Rs. 400/-.
Candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories will have to pay only Rs. 200/-.

Last date for receipt of applications

The registration and submission of the AIEEE form will begin on November 23, 2010. The last date for the submitting the AIEEE applications fall this year on 14th of January, 2011.

Acknowledgement of exam application form

On submission of the application form online, candidates will receive an email that will confirm their application form submission along with the password and registration number. This can be used for future reference of the application status as well as downloading the exam hall tickets.

If the candidates submit the application directly at the counter or by post an acknowledgement card or hall ticket will come through post at the earliest. Please contact the authorities if your hall ticket doesn’t reach a month before the exam.
