No you are not eligible for the Rail Driver post after 10th standard. You need to complete 10th standard with ITI course from recognized university.

The candidate who is interested to become a Rail Driver must have appeared and qualified in competitive exam which is conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board.

Eligibility Criteria:-
  • Must have passed the Matriculation examination with ITI course from any recognized Board.
  • Applicant’s Age should be 18 to 30 years and Relaxation in upper age limit for SC / ST is 5 years, for OBC Candidates is 3 years and for PWD Candidates is 10 years
  • Applicant's must have enough experience as diesel or electric assistant driver
