After 10 which qualifaction need to become a rail driver in india

Candidates who want to become a railway engine driver after 10th should qualify the concerned exam conducted by Railway Recruitment Board.

PROCESS TO BECOME RAIL DRIVER

** Pass tenth standard

** Complete ITI course in any specified trade

** Qualify the exam conducted by Railway Recruitment Board

** Obtain enough experience as diesel or electric assistant driver

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR RAIL DRIVER

** Candidates who have completed tenth standard can write the exam conducted for recruiting candidates to the railway engine driver post.

** Age limit:- Between eighteen years and thirty years.

There is a separate recruitment drive conducted by the Railways for Driver and Guard.

The most important factor for that is Technical Diploma and a good eyesight.

After 10th standard, you should enroll yourself in any ITI for the 3 years diploma course in the technical stream of your choice, preferably Mechanical.

After completion of that, you can apply for the post of Driver and Guard in the Railways on completion of 21 years of age at least.

Take a very good care of your eyesight as it is the most important factor in the process.
