Para Commando is a Special Forces unit which is trained for performing operations for special missions.These missions may include :-

1. Personnel Recovery.
2. Hostage Rescue.
3. Direct Action.
4. Foreign Internal Defense...etc.

The main Features of this Special force are :

• To destroy enemies without much Damage and thus they are called as "Crack Force".
• To attack enemy from behind and destroy them in first attempt.

There is no any entrance exam for this job.Only Indian Army trained Officers are work under this Group.There are two entrance mechanism through which you will able to work as Para Military Force.These are :

• NDA - Army Wing.
• CDSE - Indian Army Wing.

After getting jobs in Indian Army through this entry scheme you will be specially trained to work under the above listed situation and may able to grasp these features.

Eligibility details

A) For Indian Army (NDA)

• Minimum educational qualification should be Inter pass out in any discipline from recognized board/university.
• Your minimum age should be 16.5 years and Maximum age should be 19 years.

B) For Indian Military Academy (CDSE)

• Minimum educational qualification should be Bachelor degree in any discipline from recognized university.
• Minimum age required is 19 years and Maximum age allowed is 24 years.
