Re: How to study B.Ed course? I am a B.E graduate and a teacher in government primary school
B.Ed course is available through several institutions in India both by regular classes or distance learning. The eligibility is a bachelors degree or equivalent from any discipline with minimum percentage varying between 45% to 55% depending upon the institution. You have to be on job as a teacher for a minimum period of 2 years. If you fulfill these criteria then you can surely take admission for B.Ed entrance test conducted by the concerned board or institution. As you are already a teacher then you might do the course through distance learning. There are many institutions offering B.Ed course and their admission process varies. For example you can pursue the course from IGNOU. You have to clear the entrance exam conducted by IGNOU for the B.Ed programme. The fee structure for IGNOU is as follows, Form and entrance test fee is Rs.500 and course fee is Rs. 17400. If you have any other institution in mind then follow its official website to get details.
