Hello
Yes it is possible to get admission in B.Ed without experience. You have to appear for entrance exam conducted for it. And the eligibility criteria says that a candidate with 50% in their graduation degree can appear for the exam. |

Re: Admission procedure for B.Ed? Eligibility without any teaching experience?
Yes,it is possible to get admission in B.ed even though you have no experience in teaching as B.ed itself trained a student as how to teach & imparts them a degree that is eligible for teaching in various schools.
Every year an entrance exam is to be held for the regular students. Some universities also grant admissions on the basis of merit. However correspondece B.ed is allowed only for the inservice teachers. You must have passed a bachelor degree examination of any University recognised with a minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate at the Bachelor's degree examination. |

Re: Admission procedure for B.Ed? Eligibility without any teaching experience?
There is no need to have a work experience in teaching to join for a B.Ed course. You need to have cleared your graduation from a recognized institute. Make sure to be in Mumbai when the application forms are distributed. Also in some institutes there is a age limit of 26 to 28years. Make sure that you meet all the eligibility criterions before applying.

I had secured 6 marks less in 45% in my graduation. Now I am doing b.ed from Jammu university, today i am 34 years old (belong to OBC catagory,). Is there any chance to get a govt. teacher job in Delhi after completing of B.ed? Is there any relaxation for widow's candidates? kindly give me all details.

Re: Admission procedure for B.Ed? Eligibility without any teaching experience?
I had done B.Sc. in Year 1987 which was Two Years duration course from Kanpur University in First Division (63 % Marks). Presently I am studying in Full Time regular B.Ed. Course year 2010 - 2011 after selection through B.Ed. Centralised Admission Process (2010-2011) in Non Maharashtra Quota (General Category) in Govt. College of Education, Panvel, Maharashtra. After almost completing full year of study, today Mumbai University rejected my Eligibiity for admission in BEd. Course by saying that as per O.5172 required three years degree course. However O.5172 on website clearly indicates that a candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree of this (Mumbai) university or a corresponding degree examination of any other university recognised as equivalent there to and in addition must have subsequent to his passing Bachelor's degree examination which I already submitted with all other documents including Migration, Transfer cert. etc. Also as per O.3629 min. 45 % marks requirement is meeting out the eligibility.
On discussions with The Registrar of Mumbai University, he told that matter send for Expert opinion and will come back to you. I request you to please guide us at the earliest how to resolve the issue (time is short as exams will be in 1st Week of April 2011). Suman Agarwal B.Ed. Student Roll No. 86 Govt. College of Education, Panvel, Dist. Raigad -410206 (Maharashtra) |
