my dear friend, you can do IAS after m.tech........because in IAS, bacholar degree is required and you have completed post graduation degree, so you can apply on the basis of bacholar degree.

dear friend , the eligiblity criteria for IAS is only graduation in any discipline, but you have done M.Tech so it is very helpful in mains exam of your IAS exam.

yes you can go for IAS after M.tech.you have to sit for the UPSC exams.then you have to clear its written tests.they generally asks from every field like history and geography too. you have to well prepare for it.after that you have to go through several selection procedure. for more info go to www.upsc.gov.in |

Qualifications requirement to sit for IAS exam is given below 1.minimum qualification graduation in any subject, with 55% marks in graduation. and 60% marks for engineering holders. age limit is 21-29 year. all the best......... |

Yes you can apply for Ias via giving civil service exam and also the pattern for it has changed and may be implements from this year for which you have all common subjects for all graduates and no option to choose your subjects so prepare well all the best.

look friend for applying to the IAS the minimum requirement is the degree of b-tech....
since you hav qualified the master degree i.e. MTECH....you areeligible for IAS............ SO GO ON AND best of luck....... |

Ofcourse!! You can give your IAS exams even after doing MTech.
As you must be knowing that for IAS, you have to appear for the Civil Service exam that is conducted by the UPSC. The Minimum Eligibility for IAS can be noted as follows: Age Limit: Minimum 21 years of age as on 1st August of the year of exam. Upper age limit is 30years(Relaxation for SC/ST, OBC candidates). Educational Qualification: A graduate degree in any field from a recognized university. Final year students may also apply. Since, you have completed graduation and are pursuing Post Gradautaion, so you are eligible and can apply. You are eligible for IAS exam conducted by UPSC as civil services exams as you had already done your graduation degree which is required to appear for IAS exam. Educational Qualifications for IAS : Bachelor’s degree of a recognized university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification. Yes, of course you can apply for IAS exam after M.Tech. But you must check out your age limit before applying for it.
