Re: IBPS CWE's eligibility criteria?
Hi Friend.......
IBPS - Institute of Banking Personnel Selection The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the Common Written Examination (CWE) as a qualifying exam for jobs in 19 public sector banks in India. The PO exam is conducted for Probationary Officer / Management Trainee posts. However, beside the exam score, the candidates need to meet certain eligibility criteria. These criteria cover age limitations, nationality, and educational qualifications. Please note that the eligibility criteria specified is the basic criteria for applying to various Public Sector Banks. However merely applying for CWE/ appearing for the examination do not imply that a candidate will necessarily be eligible for employment in all or any of the 19 Public Sector Banks as each Bank will stipulate its own eligibility/ qualifying criteria. Required Eligibility Criteria for IBPS CWE Educational qualification A degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government Age Limit for IBPS CWE Minimum 20 Years; Maximum 30 Years The maximum age limit specified is applicable to General Category candidates. Relaxation of Upper Age limit - Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe: 5 years - Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years - Persons With Disabilities: 10 years all the best........ Regards..... Re: IBPS CWE's eligibility criteria?
Hi,
No it's not right, last year 12th passed candidates is to apply for clerk post but this year it is for graduates or equivalent degree to apply for the clerk post. Hence 12th passed candidates cannot apply for the clerk postif IBPS but can apply for SBI clerk and SBI associate bank clerk exams. Post graduation can apply for SO exam and even PO exam and clerk if they wish. If you are graduate then you can appear for exam of clerk and PO. The age limit also has been changed for IBPS clerk exam. The age limit should be 20-28 years for general category candidates and 20-33 years for reservation category candidates. |

Re: IBPS CWE's eligibility criteria?
The minimum academic qualification required to apply for IBPS CWE (Clerical),
is Grduation not Post Graduation. Till last year the minimum academic qualification required was 12th but it has been changed to Grduation from this year onward. It is useless to debate whether this decision is right or wrong. This criteria has been decided by banks for recruitment of clerks and you have to accept that. Banks would have found lack of maturity and understanding in 12th passed students so they would have changed the criteria or it would have been done to lower the no. of applicants. Whatever the reason would be, you have to follow the criteria. http://www.ibps.in/ |

IBPS CWE's eligibility criteria?
I am totally disagree and dissapointed with the 60% criteria of IBPS PO.
because most of the students passed out from UP Board will not lie under it and the person who has scored 59% will also suffer by this policy. percentage of persons b\w 55% to 60% are much in strenght than any other figure. This is the figure where more than 50% persons will be deprived to attend the exam which is serious concern about their career. This should be seriously changed and must come till 55%. This warm request. |
