No, the particular branch does not have AICTE approval. There are other branches which also does not have approval like

The ICFAI University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand was established under the ICFAI University Act 2003 passed by the Uttaranchal Legislative Assembly and assented to by the Governor on July 08,2003. The ICFAI University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand is sponsored by the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (Icfai), a non-profit educational society . The ICFAI University, Dehradun, is mentioned in the list maintained by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The Bar Council of India has accorded its approval for imparting three year and five year Law Courses at ICFAI University, Dehradun. The University has also received NCTE approval for B.Ed

i have done MBA in Ifaci unversity under Magnus school of bussiness chennai in 2OO9 now i applied for a central goverment exam they say the unversity is not approved by UGC or Aictu so i am not eggible for exam can any one help with is

AICTE approval is mandatory for technical and management courses at diploma/degree/pg level.

On present day 9-Feb-2019 ICFAI group has 11 Universities and 9 standalone IBS institutes in India.

Now universities are already approved by UGC so they don't require prior approval of AICTE. It is optional for them. But private universities cannot have affiliated college. Students must have to study from the main campus of the university.(Recently deemed to be universities have been brought under the purview of AICTE)

But these 9 standalone IBS institutes of ICFAI are not approved by AICTE. Though it is mandatory.

So students are advised not to take admission in IBS institutes. Instead they can take admission in UGC approved ICFAI universities.
