Is IIHR Delhi approved by UGC? Are the courses valid to get Employment?
Hello Sir, I want to pursue MA in Human Rights. I inquired from IIHR Delhi. I am confused weather this Institution is approved by UGC or not. The course offered is valid to get employment or not. Please guide me as early as possible.

IIHR stands for Indian Institute of Human Rights. It is located at New Delhi, India.
The IIHR, Delhi is not approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) but, it is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institute. The courses offered by IIHR Delhi are recognised and they can be used to apply for private and public sector jobs. |

Re: Is IIHR Delhi approved by UGC? Are the courses valid to get Employment?
Quote:
I completed the PG Diploma in Human Rights from IIHR in 2003 with 71% marks, did M. Phil in Human Rights from a FALTU university in 2009 with 75% marks and appeared for NET in December 2015 session. Result was 'qualified for Assistant Professor only' with 67% marks. But, UGC did not issue the certificate citing the reason, "Your PG degree is not valid'. So, please stay away from these fraudulent institutes. Better do MA in Human Rights from any other good university. |
