I have my B.E degree from a non UGC approved university. I am trying for masters in US and also at the same time searching for a job. Am I eligible for studying or doing job in foreign countries with non UGC certified degree? Please mail me at [email protected]

UGC stands for University Grant Commission. If your college/university is not approved by UGC then it should be approved by AICTE or by government or by any institute equivalent to UGC or AICTE. If your college/university is not approved by any of them then can not apply for job or any other higher education.

Yes, definitely your Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E) course certificate from a Non-UGC approved university is valid to apply for job opportunities and also you can apply for admission to Master's degree course in US. But, remember that the degree certificate you have obtained should be recognised by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) affiliated university.

Even if your B.E. degree is not approved by UGC, it should have been approved by AICTE or any Institute equivalent. If however, your college/University is not approved by either AICTE/UGC/any recognized agency, then in that case I am sorry to say that your certificate will hold zero value.

I am happy to say you that definitely your BE degree from Non UGC approved University is valid for job opportunities as well as for further higher studies in your field in abroad in US. I want to do phd nursing at jjt university rajasthan. Jjt UGC license were expiry. But ugc website jjt is there but i know that ugc license were expiry on 2013.but i called ugc number they were says that don't do it phd there. Ugc website still that university name came. I can study or not give some guidance....?

I did my graduation through distance education mode. I have 8 years of academic gap after 10 2. Now i want to do masters in abroad.Am i eligible for that?guys please let me know.
