Coming to the "How to Prepare" part and Important topics

BITSAT is no different exams from IIT JEE and AIEEE and so the preparation remains the same. Yeah some difference from IIT JEE but its similar to AIEEE.

There is nothing great you have to do while preparing. Its just that you have to focus on few things sucn as

Concepts : Your concepts should be strong first of all and then you must think for going for solving problems. Read theory and then go for solving the problems from few recommended books like Arihant,NCERT etc...

Speed:
Speed is the most important aspect as speed. Without speed you will stand no where in BITSAT. So try practicing more and more problems so as to improve you speed

Practice Practice and Practice
This is the right formula. You must practice as much as you can till the last minuite of the exam. If you solve the previous year papers thoroughly then there is no reason why you wont crack the exam.

Deadline to apply for BITSAT-2011 : last week January 2011
Candidates to reserve Test dates : feb to March 2011
Candidates to download the Hall tickets with instructions: month of april 2011
BITSAT Online tests : MAY AND JUNE OF 2011
PREPARATION for BITSAT:-BITSAT is not a big deal kind of exam.
it can't be compare with AIEEE and IIT exam
why people get less marks1.lack of attention
2.proper use of tricks and tips at the time of examination
what should be done by you:-1.keep track of all the information and syllabus about BITSAT
2.refer all the NCERT books
3.track previous year question papers
4.try to find various tips and tricks

The notifications will be announced in the month of January.
You can get the application form so apply it before the end of January.

Your test center and announcement of candidates will be around the mid of February.

Candidates can download their hall ticket on the 2nd week of April.

The BITSAT online tests are supposed to be conducted from 2nd week of May to mid of June.

Since you have much time left with you so keep working hard for the competitive exams.

Deadline to apply for BITSAT-2011: end of the month of January, 2011

Test center allotment and announcement to candidates: mid of February, 2011

In addition to applying and appearing for BITSAT-2011, candidates will have to apply for admission to BITS through a separate application form for seeking admission to programmes offered at Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campuses along with the details of the 12th class marks. The prescribed application form, the detailed application procedure and the final list of degree programmes offered will be available by 20th May, 2011 on the BITS website
How to Apply for BITSAT 2011

How to apply: Interested candidates should register for BITSAT-2011 by applying in the prescribed application form at www.bitsadmission.com
The print out of the filled form along with the prescribed fees of Rs 1500/- (Rs 1000/- for female candidates) should be sent to admission officer, BITS, Pilani-333031
Options for payment of fees are given at the website

BITSAT-2011: It is a 3 hour test, offered to candidates on computers at dedicated centers in different cities in India and at the Dubai campus

how does large number of questions affect paper.

well i have bitsat comig in ten days,, and i am starting to wonder about the best wy to crack it. i havent done aieee tht well so i have to do ths xam well. suggest me the best way to do it, as well as the best books to refer and study techniques.

if the indian student from saudi arabia studying in cbse school affiliated to delhi .IS HE ELIGIBLE FOR BITSAT ENTRANCE EXAM.
