is it important to take physical in class 11 for nda course

First let me provide you the basic information regarding NDA Exam so that you will come to know whether you have to opt for Physics in your 11th class or not.

NDA Exam is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

This Exam is the common written exam for the candidates to be placed in the following Defence services
-Army wing
-Navy wing
-Air Force wing

In order to join Army wing, one should have completed 12th class with any of the stream from a recognized institute.
But to apply for Navy and Air Force wings, it is must that the candidate should have gone through Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects in his 10+2.

Even the candidates who have appeared for final year exams of 10+2 and waiting for the result can also apply for this exam.

You should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years to be eligible for this exam.

I hope, now you have come to an understanding of whether you have to opt for Physics in your 11th class or not.

If you are interested to make your entry into Navy or Air Force services, then you opt for Physics as one of the subject in 11th class.

In contrast to this, if you are interested to make your entry into Army wing, then you can opt for 11th class with any of the subjects and with any of the stream as per your interest.

For appearing in NDA exam you have to complete the 12th first.

Eligibility for NDA exam:-

For Army wing:-
1.Candidate have to complete the 12th in any trade from a recognized central/state education board.

2.Candidate must be an Indian.

3.Age should be in between 16.5-19 years.

For NAVY and Air Force wing:-

1.Candidate have to complete the 12th in science stream having physics , chemistry and maths.

2.Candidate must be a citizen of India.

3.Age should be in between 16.5-19 years.

So, first complete the 12th , then you can appear in NDA exam.
