IES Eligibility :
Academic Qualification : The candidate must be graduate from any university. The candidate must have a graduation degree from any recogniged university but they should have the stream from this below : 1.Telecommunication 2.Computer Science 3.Electrical 4.Information Technology 5.Electrical Age Limit : For General :21 to 30 years. [SC/ST will get 5 years age relaxation and OBC will get 3 year age relaxation] No Of Attempts : General : 4. SC/ST: Unlimited. OBC :7. All the best.... |

Clearance of IES Exam is possible only if you are good at your Technical concepts. Do refer what ever you might be just refer the corresponding streams "MADE EASY" publications material and do refer the previous GATE question papers and few Current Affairs.

Clearance of IES Exam is possible only if you are good at your Technical concepts. Do refer what ever you might be just refer the corresponding streams "MADE EASY" publications material and do refer the previous GATE question papers and few Current Affairs.

The standard reference books for I.E.S. examination which is conducted by UPSC are as under. General Economics-I Microeconomics by Koutsoyyiannis, Ahuja or Macroeconomics by Shapiro ,, Dornbusch and Fischer, Ahuja Mathematical Methods : class 11th and 12th NCERT Maths book is sufficient. National Income Accounting : 12th standard book (NCERT) General Economics -II Monetary by SB Gupta (For both) M L Jhingan and RBI Report. International Economics by Soderston ; , Mannur Growth and Development by M L Jhingan, Meir and Baldwin., read any one or two latest book of Amratya Sen. Statistics : NCERT books of +2 standard and some graduation level statistics book. General Economics -III Public Finance by Bhatia and one foreign author book. Indian Engineering Service exam is conducted by upsc every year once.This exam is conducted to intake qualified engineers for Government sector in different departments.
Eligibility criteria for Indian Engineering Service exam: Education qualification: Candidate should minimum graduation degree in Engineering from a Mechanical/Civil/Electric Stream. Age limit: Age should be between 21 to 30 years. Indian Engineering Service exam notification for this year: Issue of application form from 25th Feb 2012 to 24th March 2012. Exam will held on 15th June 2012. See this attachment for IES books. |
