Bachelor degree in mathematics or statistics is the basic qualification required for M.Sc in mathematics. Usually candidates having 50% marks or above will be considered for admission process. Admission in most cases is done via entrance tests. Chennai Mathematical Institute, Pune University, Delhi University, etc offer M.Sc in mathematics. You can participate in IIT JAM or University conducted entrance tests for joining the program.

There are many entrance exams for M.Sc. Maths which are conducted by individual universities. But you have to decide which university you want to apply for admission.

The best option for you will be IIT JAM because they are the best in India. If you want to do M.SC from IITs then you can apply for IIT JAM.

For this exam you must be Graduation in Mathematics.

The selection will be based on the performance in the entrance exam so you must have very good knowledge of your field if you want to get admission in IITs.
