Re: Information about NET entrance exam?
Quote:
The main criteria to sit for this exam is that you need to secure minimum 55% of marks at post-graduation level. You can get the degree in any one of the following subject: BS-4 Yr program/BE/BTech/BPharma/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS/M.Sc or its equivalent. There is 5 percentage relaxation for the reserved category candidates. Which means the SC/ST and physically handicapped candidates needs to get 50% of marks at graduation level. For Lectureship there is no upper limit as such. For JRF there is an upper age limit of 28 years for the general category. SC/ST/OBC candidates will get a 5 years age relaxation. The written examination has two exam papers: Objective Test and Subject Test. The validity of the fellowship programme is one year which means that the student needs to register for the PhD degree within one year from the date of selection. Cost of application form is different for different categories. For general category it is Rs. 400, for OBC candidates it is Rs. 200 and for SC/ST/PH candidates it is Rs. 100. Hope this helps :-> :-> |
