NET Computer Syllabus :-

• Discrete Structure

• Computer Arithmetic

• Programming in C and C ++

• Relational Database Design and Sql

• Data and File Structure

• Computer Networks

• System Software and Compilers

• Operating Systems

• Software Engineering

• Current Trends and Technologies

Eligibility Criteria :-

The candidate have to completed their Master degree with any desire subject from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and the candidate must secure at least 55% aggregate marks in their examination.Relaxation is given to the reserved categories(the candidate must secure at least 50% aggregate marks for SC/ST/PH/VH categories).

The candidate who are pursing in the final year of Master degree may also eligible to apply for NET examination.If you have any backlogs in your examination then you are not eligible to apply for this examination.After clearing your backlogs you are eligible to apply for this examination.

This examination was conducted by University Grants Commission twice in a year as namely June and December.This year notification will be publish in the month of April or May in the official website of UGC as well as employment news paper.

there will be 2 sessions -

In first session there will be 2 papers

Paper I - it will have 60 questions out of which 50 have to be attempted

Marks - 2x50 = 100

duration - 1.5 hour (09.30 a.m. to 10.45 a.m.)

Passing marks = 40

The syllabus has been attached

Paper II - it will have 50 questions and all questions have to be attempted

Marks - 2x50 = 100

duration - 1.5 hour (10.45 a.m. to 12.00 Noon.

Passing marks = 40

The syllabus for paper II has been attached

Session 2 will have 1 paper

Paper III - it will have 75 questions all are compulsory

Marks - 2x75 = 150

duration - 2.5 hour (01.30 p.m. to 04.00 p.m.)

Passing marks = 75

UGC-NET EXAM SYLLABUS FOR COMPUTER SCIENCE DEPARTMENT

NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted by UGC.This exam will be happen twice time in a year.

Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam.

For general and OBC candidate must be secure at least 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.

NET exam is conduct because of govt college lecturer and PHD entrance.
