KPSC conducts this entrance exam with an objective to select candidates in to different departments of Karnataka State. Graduates can apply for this exam. This exam is conducted for filling up Group 1 and Group 2 posts. This exam includes a preliminary examination. Those who qualify in this exam can attend the main exam. Personal Interview is the last stage of selection process.

KAS exam is conducted by the KPSC(Karnataka Public Service Commission) every year.


Eligibility details:-

Bachelor's degree holder in any stream candidates are eligible for this exam.

Percentage is not important to eligible for this exam.

The candidate must be an Indian origin.


Age criteria:-

The age limits are 21 to 30years,

3 years upper age relaxation only for OBC candidates,

5 years upper age relaxation only for SC/ST candidates.

Selection stages:-

There are basically 3 stages given below.

Preliminary exam,

Mains exam,

Personal interview.

KAS Stands Karnataka Administrative Service

KAS exam conducted by Karnataka Public Service Commission once in a year.

Eligibility Criteria for KAS Examination :

Candidates must be Indian

Candidates should have any Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University

Candidates min of age limit 21 years & max of age limit 35 years

Age relaxation as per govt rules

3 years for OBC Candidates

5 years for SC/ST Candidates

Selection Process :

It can be based on following Three stages

Preliminary Exam Syllabus :

Total 100 questions each question carrying Two marks.

Eligibility:

The candidate should be citizen of India.

The candidate should pass the Graduation from any recognized university.

Final year pursuing candidates are also eligible for this exam.

The candidate age limit should be between 21 to 30 years.

The OBC upper age limit should be below 33 years.

The SC\ST candidates upper age limit should be 35 years.

Both male & Female candidates are eligible for this exam.

No of Attempts:

4 attempts required for General Category

7 attempts required for OBC.
